Gasketed plate and frame heat exchangers use a one-piece molded gasket to create seals between the plates over which fluids travel. The gasket design includes a fluid leak path to atmosphere in case of a gasket failure, preventing fluid cross-contamination.

Standard Xchange’s gasketed plate heat exchangers are space-efficient and cost-effective. Like all plate and frame units, they feature “true” counter-current fluid flow, which allows high thermal efficiencies compared to shell and tube exchangers.
