With over thirty years of heat exchanger experience, HED is a bespoke heat exchanger manufacturer that has worked with some of the largest companies in the chemical, oil and gas, paper and pulp, and food industries. Located in Indianapolis, IN, their 114,000 square feet manufacturing facility has provided custom units for customers in more than forty countries.
HED’s product line began with hairpin-type and shell and tube exchangers in 1984, and it has since expanded to include tank heaters, fuel oil line and suction heaters, pressure vessels, economizers, waste heat boilers, indirect fired heaters, and special application equipment. They have extensive experience with industry-recognized standards and international codes, such as API and TEMA. Additionally, HED is an ASME certified manufacturer, with “U” and “UM” stamp capabilities for ASME Sec VIII, Div 1 pressure vessels.
